Guest Musicians – October 20th

Cheryl Wilson is also known as an international recording artist as a vocalist. She records in London, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Atlanta, Nashville and Chicago. Her credits as featured artist as well as backing vocals, recording and performing live, include Michael Jackson, Michael Bolton, Peabo Bryson, Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston and many others. Ms. Wilson is adjunct faculty at Roosevelt University as well as University of Illinois Chicago in 2012 for Applied Voice, Jazz Studies.

Dr. Michael Stryker is the Director of the University of Illinois at Chicago Jazz Studies program. He earned his doctoral studies at the Eastman School of Music in 2009. He is fortunate to have worked with many masterful musicians, including Maria Schneider, Clark Terry and Freddie Hubbard.
